Painting services

Homes, units, shops and offices across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and Port Stephens. Every job quoted in writing before it starts.

Interior painting

Full house repaints or a single room. We move and cover what we can, mask what we cannot, and put the room back together before we leave for the day.

  • Walls and ceilings
  • Doors, skirtings, architraves and window frames
  • Feature walls and colour changes
  • Wallpaper removal and wall repair
  • Stairwells and high ceilings

Exterior painting

Newcastle weather is hard on paint — coastal salt, west-facing walls, long summers. Exterior work is mostly preparation, and that is where we spend the time.

  • Weatherboard, fibro, render and brick
  • Eaves, fascias, gutters and barge boards
  • Decks, pergolas, fences and garage doors
  • Pressure cleaning, scraping and sanding back
  • Rust treatment and timber repairs before painting

Kitchens & cabinetry

Spray finishing gives a hard, even surface with no brush marks. A good option when the cabinets are sound but the colour is dating the whole room.

  • Kitchen doors, panels and drawer fronts
  • Wardrobes and built-in joinery
  • Vanities and laundry cupboards
  • Degrease, sand, prime and topcoat

Commercial & strata

Shops, offices, cafes, childcare centres, units and common areas — anything from a single door through to multi-storey buildings. We stage work around trading hours or residents so the place keeps running.

  • Shopfronts and signage panels
  • Offices and fit-outs
  • Childcare centres and community buildings
  • Strata common areas, stairwells and car parks
  • Multi-storey buildings and height access
  • Real estate and end-of-lease repaints
  • After hours and weekend work by arrangement

Preparation & repairs

Paint only lasts as long as what is underneath it. Prep is not an optional line item on our quotes — it is most of the job.

  • Filling, sanding and caulking
  • Plaster and gyprock patching
  • Mould treatment and stain blocking
  • Rotten timber replacement
  • Lead paint handled to the safe work requirements

The standard

How we work

We work to AS/NZS 2311, the Australian Standard for painting buildings. In practice that means the surface is prepared to suit what is going on it, and the coats go on at the spread rate the manufacturer specifies — not thinned out to save a tin.

Quotes name the products and the number of coats. If you want a specific brand or a particular finish, say so and we will price it.

  1. Protect

Drop sheets, masking and furniture covered before anything is opened.

  2. Prepare

Clean, scrape, sand, fill and caulk. Repairs done before primer.

  3. Prime

The right primer or sealer for the surface, including bare and patched areas.

  4. Finish

Two topcoats as standard. Final walk-through with you before we pack up.

Not sure what you need?

Tell us the problem, not the solution

Peeling eaves, a tired kitchen, a unit that needs to be rent-ready by the month's end — describe it and we will tell you what the job actually involves.
